I was able to independently coordinate this event by being the main point of contact for all partners involved as well as work with my team to ensure smooth load in and load out. Having our furry friends come to the Flower Show is a great way to bring in new audiences and a great way for pups to have fun too! I worked with a number of organizations from rescues to pet training organizations to ensure a fun and safe event. I worked to ensure all pets were safe to have on site as well as worked closely with rescues to ensure every pet had proper veterinary records proof on site. This event was definitely more in depth with the information and documentation needed, but I worked closely to ensure it was safe and fun event for humans and pets!
Flowers After Hours is essentially an opportunity for guests to come see the Flower Show "after hours" and dance the night away with local Philly partners sampling different kinds of drinks, cash bar and a DJ. This was a really great event to help bring in new demographics and a chance for more people to see the show after hours. Through assisting with the coordinating and execution of this event I learned more about what goes into planning an event that has alcohol vendors and connected with local brewery and bar partners to promote their brands at Flowers After Hours. This was one of my favorite events to be a part of.
